As a highly regarded worldwide philanthropic and service organization, Rotary is committed to maintaining its reputation and the quality of its members’ experience. As part of this effort to maintain quality, leaders in clubs around the world are encouraged to set goals for their clubs in a variety of areas.
In the 2023-2024 fiscal year, our club was one of just 11 in our District to achieve at least 13 of its 15 goals. And we were the only virtual club to be recognized. When our club began three years ago, many “traditional” Rotarians doubted whether a virtual club could be a “real” Rotary club. Thanks to our growing active membership and our club leaders, we have definitely proved that a virtual club like ours is a “real” Rotary club. We can all pat ourselves on the back for our achievements.
