Several times a year, our geographically dispersed Global Travelers club chooses a virtual service project. Our goal with each project we choose is to give our members they opportunity to participate wherever they are — serving the world together, separately.
Our challenge this spring was to find a way to celebrate Earth Day during April and May by doing something nice for the earth — planting, cleaning up trash, contributing to an organization that protects the environment, or any other activity our members chose.

We had participation around the world — members doing something nice for the earth in their home town or on their travels.
Our participants were
- 25 Global Travelers in
- 22 cities & towns
- 11 states
- 4 countries
- 3 continents
And they participated with others — fellow Rotarians, Youth Exchange students, family, and even a family pup.

Our participants were creative in choosing their activities and had fun!
